Well – I finally decided to sit for my Class B Water exam…  I take it next week. I dont actually need it for my career right now, but it can’t hurt! I’m also interested in taking a computer based exam, to experience for myself what our students are seeing when they take thiers. Any suggestions for me?

I am happy to announce that the UF TREEO Center on-line course for Water Distribution Systems Level 2 and 3 has been approved by the FDEP for the State Exam.  The course qualifies an operator to sit  for the Water Distribution System Class 3 license exam and operators currently holding a level 3 certificate can take this course to meet the requirements for the class 2 exam.  It is approved for CEUs too, 4.0 CEUs are awarded upon completion. I just finished the course myself, and found it enjoyable and easy to follow.  For more info on the the course, go to the TREEO website at www.treeo.ufl.edu.

I am looking for input from water and wastewater operators about the new computer based exams in Florida.  What did you like or dislike about the exam, or the exam site? Any helpful advice for operators getting ready for thier exams?
